This is an IRB-approved qualitative research project open to all Mercy Health St Rita's GME personnel. The goal is to obtain a cross-sectional perspective on the effectiveness of AI chatbots performing in the capacity as a professional coach.

AI Chatbot as Coach

Participants will be recruited from:
• Resident physicians
• Program directors and coordinators
• Faculty and directors at Mercy Health St. Rita’s GME and hospital leadership

The duration of the study is 12 weeks

Participation is voluntary and can stop at any time

All participants receive a complementary Myers-Briggs type indicator (MBTI) assessment that will be uploaded to the AI coach platform.

Participants will receive periodic surveys to assess their perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses of AI chatbots in their capacity as professional coaches. There will be a final 45-minute interview with our statistician at the project’s conclusion to abstract thematic commonalities from all participants.
