Via a $5 million matching contribution from the greater Lima community, Mercy Health financed and built a state of the art $15 million Graduate Medical Education building across the street from the St Rita’s Emergency Department.
It supports and provides educational facilities and simulation rooms for all five ACGME accredited programs (Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pharmacy and Podiatry) in Lima, Ohio.
David Faulkner, B.S. ACSM CCEP, who serves as the director of simulation and research, is an invaluable leader and hands-on simulation partner, supporting the needs of the Emergency Medicine residency program.
