The telephone on the nightstand rings. You answer it. You hear a woman’s voice clearly: “Hello, this is Dr. Olivia Epidemia, the infectious disease doctor, calling from the mainland. We are receiving alarming reports of similar symptoms affecting several people on your vessel. There seems a sort of outbreak of some kind.
