(2) Pediatric Abdominal US:
Perform and seek out both adult and pediatric abdominal studies, to evaluate for appendicitis or specific etiologies such as intussusception or pyloric stenosis.
(3) MSK US:
Learn a set of new skills by studying and learning the POCUS protocols for shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, ankle and foot ultrasound. This topic is broad enough to also include regional anesthestic blocks (iliaca fascia, brachial etc)
(4) Thoracic and Lung US:
In the age of COVID-19, many more practitioners have been investigating the intricacies and nuances of lung ultrasound. This is definitively an important skill set going forward especially valuable in critical care / intensivist settings.
